I have been involved with complementary therapies for over 40 years. In the 1970's I taught hatha yoga in New York, studied Acupressure in Los Angeles and practiced meditation in India. And, naturally, I have taken many post graduate and specialist courses in both Craniosacral Therapy and The Alexander Technique over years.
My interest in movement and my own need to improve my coordination have led me to study many different dance and movement forms such as tai chi, flamenco, salsa - and since 2004, Argentine Tango - and these studies have enriched my work both as a Craniosacral Therapist and as a Teacher of the Alexander Technique.
In 1986 I qualified as a Teacher of the Alexander Technique and in 1997 I qualified as a Registered Craniosacral Therapist.
I work from home in Roath. There is parking near the house and plenty of buses run nearby on Newport Road and Albany Road.
My hours usually are:
Wednesday, Thursday and Friday: 10.00am-5.00pm
A Craniosacral Therapy session last 50 minutes.
An introductory Alexander Technique lesson lasts 50 minutes. Subsequent lessons are 35-40 minutes.
