I have been involved with complementary therapies for over 35 years. In the 1970's I taught hatha yoga in New York, studied Acupressure in Los Angeles and practiced meditation in India.
My interest in movement and my own need to improve my coordination have led me to study many different dance and movement forms such as tai chi, flamenco, salsa - and since 2004, Argentine Tango - and these studies have enriched my work both as a Teacher of the Alexander Technique and as a Craniosacral Therapist.
In 1986, I qualified as a Teacher of the Alexander Technique after completing a full-time training recognized by the Society of Teachers of the Alexander Technique. And in 1997, I became a Registered Craniosacral Therapist.
I work from home in Roath. There is parking near the house and plenty of buses run nearby on Newport Road and Albany Road.
My hours usually are:
Tuesday and Wednesday 4.00pm - 7.00pm
Thursday and Friday: 9.30am - 7.00pm
An introductory Alexander Technique lesson will last 45- 50 minutes. Subsequent lessons are 30-40 minutes.
Craniosacral Therapy sessions last 50 minutes.
